The Hastings Area School System is a rural school district located in southwest Michigan. One of the gems of the district is one of their school counselors, Cathy Longstreet. She has been with the Hastings Area School System for 23 years, currently serving as a school counselor at Hastings High School and K12 Counseling Department chair.

Norwich Free Academy is an independent 9th through 12th-grade high school that supports students from 14 different towns. Jessica has been with Norwich Free Academy for 24 years and has been the department chair for school counseling since 2014.

Township High School District 214: Aligning Curriculum to Career Pathways for Successful Transitions
Since integrating career pathways into the academic lives of students at District 214, the district more than tripled the number of students who earned dual credit in a career pathway course improving from 12% in 2013 to 40% for the class of 2018.
