Hobsons Kicks Off 2019 Hobsons Summer Institute in Marco Island, FL
The Second Annual HSI conference brings together hundreds of K-12 and Higher Education Leaders to Discuss Advancements in Student Success
MARCO ISLAND, FL – July 29, 2019 - Hobsons, the education technology leader and company behind Naviance, Intersect and Starfish, today hosts the second annual Hobsons Summer Institute (HSI), the premier education conference bringing together nearly 1,000 of the top K-12 and higher education leaders from across the country. This year’s event will be held at the JW Marriott Marco Island in Marco Island, FL.
The dynamic thought leadership conference will bring attendees three days of content focusing on advancing lifetime student success and continuing to bridge the gap between K-12 and higher education.

This year’s conference features 14 different content tracks, over 130 unique sessions led by product experts, 158 different speakers, and a college fair with 45 different representatives. HSI 2019 includes keynote speeches from John Quiñones, former ABC news anchor and host of ABC’s What Would You Do, Deon Clark, CEO of TCI Solutions and a workforce development expert who has provided talent development training to over 5,000 students.
HSI 2019 will also include the recognition ceremony for this year’s Hobsons Education Advances Awards, recognizing ten K-12 schools and higher education institutions for their impact in student success. The winners in the categories of College, Career, and Life Readiness, Match & Fit Admission, and Student Success in Advising will receive $2,500 each to use in continuing their efforts in helping students succeed. Runners-up will each receive a donation of $1,000.
