Every day, Hobsons clients are helping students make the best decisions to shape their futures while creating meaningful and measurable change within their organizations. At Hobsons, we’re proud of our clients’ accomplishments and we celebrate their success.
Next July at our annual users conferences, the Naviance Summer Institute and Hobsons University, we will honor innovative schools, districts, and higher education institutions with Hobsons Education Advances Awards, which recognize the innovation that is possible when an institution combines people, process, and technology to make a difference in the lives of students.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Hobsons Education Advances Awards. Hobsons product users are encouraged to submit an application nominating their own institution (or other institutions) for three awards in the categories of K-12 College and Career Readiness, College Admissions and Enrollment, and Higher Ed Student Success and Advising. Each award winner, selected by a panel of prestigious, independent judges, will receive $2,500 for their institution, while two finalists in each category will receive $1,000 each for their institutions.
Completed submissions must be received by 5 p.m. EST on January 31, 2016. Late submissions will not be accepted.
A complete application contains:
- A completed Hobsons Education Advances Awards application, available here.
- Any supplemental materials such as photos, videos, charts, etc. to help tell the story of student success. Supplemental materials not included in the online application may be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We strongly encourage creative approaches to supplemental materials, particularly the inclusion of recorded video or audio. Production quality of your media is not important if the result captures a story that connects your efforts to specific student successes. Media may be linked in your online submission or submitted to email@example.com.
We hope you will enter our awards program to showcase your great work and to further your efforts at preparing students for success.
