We at Hobsons are continuing to monitor the latest information regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As you are aware, the situation continues to evolve, and many educational institutions have taken pragmatic measures to protect their students and staff.
For the safety of our valued clients and our staff, we have decided to suspend all travel for our staff until April 10th. This temporary travel disruption will not impact our partnership with you or our service levels in any way.
If we have already planned on-site meetings with you, our team will be in contact to arrange for teleconference or video conference options or to accommodate other arrangements. Our company has operating models and flexible infrastructure designed for onsite and remote client engagements. Intersect and Naviance are both built on resilient, secured, and mobile-responsive cloud-based technologies that scale to meet our clients’ increasing demand — both on campus and anywhere enrollment leaders and Naviance students choose to access.
We are here to support you and your enrollment goals, especially under the current circumstances. We also recognize that efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic will be disruptive to admission offices and K-12 schools. We’re doing everything we can to help.
For College Visits: RepVisits and College Events functionality make it easy for you and schools to cancel/reschedule and notify others of changes for in-person events. Please ensure that you are updating your events and visits if your plans change. High schools are actively updating their availability as their situations evolve, and admission counselors will be automatically notified of any visit changes.
Interaction in Naviance: Students continue to engage in Naviance even at schools that are currently closed. We will be providing rich resources to Naviance schools to support them in working remotely with students where needed, more information can be found in this blog post.
