When making goal-oriented priorities, UNL's office of academic affairs identified four key strategic areas to improve student retention and time to degree:

Improve campus coordination and delivery of advising and support services

  • Create targeted, required advising programs for particular student populations
  • Develop early warning systems to identify and support academically at-risk students
  • Track participation with and impact of academic support services
