Using ActiveMatch to promote the university within Naviance has given UCSB the opportunity to connect with many students who are potentially a good fit. “We’re able to pinpoint areas and individuals who can see themselves at UCSB,” said Cuca Acosta, Associate Director. In recent years, as the university has incorporated more in-state recruitment, Ms. Acosta noted, “We could reconnect with students in our own back yard. That was the hidden gem.”
