Transcripts at the Click of a Button

Like most schools, High Tech High in San Diego is under an enormous burden to submit transcripts and other forms to colleges as its seniors navigate the application process each year. Before going digital, the counseling office relied on the only method it had: mailing paper packets filled with transcripts, school profiles, and teacher recommendations. High Tech High also printed and mailed a second or third round of transcripts, translating into countless hours of staff time and thousands of dollars in postage and supplies.

Yonkers Public Schools

After implementing Naviance, Yonkers Public Schools now has the ability to measure the impact their programs have on student success. In 2008, prior to the full adoption of Naviance, college-going intentions for seniors was 67%. In 2012, close to 91% of YPS seniors applied to colleges and 76% of seniors intended to enroll in four- or two–year colleges. Since using Naviance scholarship tools, YPS has more than doubled financial aid and scholarship awards from $23 million in 2010 to over $49 million in 2012. YPS attributes these increases to the variety of college- and career-readiness programs offered as well as improved student awareness of opportunities and resources available made possible by Naviance.
