A New Reimagined Solution for Personal Graduation Plans

Texas Districts Help Shape Naviance Solution for Meeting TEA Requirements

AUSTIN, TX – January 27, 2020 – Hobsons, the education technology leader behind Naviance, introduced a reimagined solution at TASA Midwinter for meeting Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) requirements outlined by the Texas Education Association (TEA). Co-developed with Texas districts including Houston ISD, Humble ISD, and Comal ISD, Naviance Course Planner ensures each student has a career-aligned course plan for middle school and high school that advances them toward a best-fit career.

Texas districts rely on Naviance to provide one comprehensive platform for engaging students in future planning as well as tracking TEA college, career and military readiness (CCMR) indicators. District leaders can also analyze data to determine gaps and bright spots in achievement across customized student groups. Texas districts use the solution to:

  • Efficiently meet Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) requirements
  • Track CCMR indicators by district, school, and customized student group
  • Identify effective strategies for closing the CCMR achievement gap

TASA Midwinter attendees have the opportunity to experience the reimagined Course Planner by visiting booth #117 at the conference on January 27 or 28. The first 30 visitors will receive a free YETI tumbler and all are eligible to enter a drawing for a YETI cooler.

More than 850,000 Texas 6th-12th graders have access to Naviance, helping them discover new opportunities and create plans to help them achieve their goals.
