Option 1: Leveling up: Continuity Planning in Times of Change
Organizational structures, project teams and the people who work in them are not fixed in stone. As student success program leads and technology experts come and go, how do you ensure that you maintain continuity and quality of service to your students? How do you maintain continuity of knowledge? How do you build expertise within your team? In this session, we will discuss best practices for continuity planning, process management and team training to ensure you are best serving your students..

Betsy Sampson, Program/Project Support Coordinator, UMSL
Kelly Casperson, Manager, Early Alert System, NWTC

Jan Day, Director of Client Success, Starfish by Hobsons

Option 2: Understanding Your University’s Capacity to Improve Student Success
Leveraging tools and data for decision-making is often easier said than done.  In this session, we’ll share one institution’s experience to continuously and creatively improve how they leverage Starfish to support their students.  This interactive session will also allow participants to assess and reflect on their capacity to use data effectively on their campus, determine a set of related next steps, and discuss those ideas with colleagues from other campuses.

Tina Balser, Student Success Technology Coordinator, University of Missouri-Columbia
Ellyn Artis, Director of Strategic Consulting, Starfish by Hobsons

2:30 – 3:30 pm: General Session - "From Chaos to Clarity: Up-leveling how you think about campus data"
Russ Little, Director of Product Management, Starfish by Hobsons
Harnessing the sheer volume of student data on your campus can be daunting. In identifying paths to improved student outcomes, you have access to a student’s course selection data, personal data, behavioral data, as well as institutional best practice. How do you make sense of it all? In this session, Russ Little from Starfish by Hobsons will share with you how you can level up the way you consume the data your campus has available.

3:30 pm: Closing Remarks and Q&A
Howard Bell, General Manager, Starfish by Hobsons
