Scheduling visits to high schools can be a time-consuming process for both school counselors and admission counselors. That’s why Erica White, former school counselor and now a Product Manager at Hobsons, created RepVisits in 2015. RepVisits brings high schools and college admission counselors together on one website to schedule appointments and organize college fairs.

Innovation is an interesting concept, perhaps a little like other big ideas such as ‘excellence’ and ‘beauty’ where each person enjoys a slightly different flavour, but all know it when they see it. If people had to define it in the abstract, they would never reach a suitable agreement. People agree that innovations are new ideas, approaches, products or processes; they often help society do, see or think in new ways. Against the backdrop of current norms, innovations standout as ‘different’. But difference is not all that is required to make something truly innovative.
Mark Ingarfield, the Team Leader for the university’s Centralised Enquiries and Applicant Response Service [CEARS) had noticed that prospective students were dropping out of the enquiry process at an early stage. Although application numbers were on a par with those of the university’s main competitors he was concerned that quality applicants might be lost.
The University of Liverpool needed to boost conversion rates and reduce the administrative burden on its recruitment team. They turned to Hobsons’ CRM to help streamline their processes and enhance their relationships with students.
