Hobsons was founded in 1974 and is part of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT), one of the oldest and most successful international media companies.

In response to the growing need within education to streamline and improve processes, we developed a range of technology products that help educational institutions target, communicate with, nurture, and track students more effectively throughout their educational careers. 

The Hobsons technology solutions have been created by education professionals for education professionals. By partnering with universities, we are able to create products to help you as professionals to manage student relationships more effectively and consistently by using intuitive, user friendly products to enable you to focus on other activities to enhance the student experience. 


At Hobsons Europe, we now focus solely on technology and enrolment services and work with over 40 universities and business schools to help them manage the enquiry, application, and enrolment processes at their institutions.

Hobsons Europe has two business divisions:

EMS logo The Enrolment Management Services division provides international offices with services that help them manage international recruitment more efficiently and maximise conversation rates. We offer International Student Enquiry Management and Made Offer conversion campaigns.
EMT logo The Enrolment Management Technology division offers Web-based software solutions to enhance interactions with prospective students. From CRM to online application systems, our EMT product suite can help institutions target, manage, and track student communications effectively.
