27 November 2012

Recently the University of Brighton announced that they have formed a partnership with Hobsons, the leader in recruitment, communication, and student success solutions for higher education.  The partnership, a three year project, will see Hobsons assisting the Faculty of Science & Engineering and the Business School recruit international students.

Colin Monk, the University's Pro-Vice Chancellor for business and marketing comments: “I am pleased to enter into this partnership with Hobsons which will see them supporting our enquiry and offer management teams.  While the university will continue to be totally responsible for making offers to international students, Hobsons will support us with improved systems and language specialists who are trained to handle specific conversion opportunities in a given country.

Kenny Nicholl, a director at Hobsons added: “We are delighted to be working with the University of Brighton and I am confident that with our support that the University will be able to meet their international recruitment objectives at both postgraduate and undergraduate level.”

The Hobsons Enrolment Management Service allows institutions to efficiently target international, domestic and online students, ensuring cost effective student recruitment and dramatically increased conversion rates. It offers a reliable and intuitive approach for institutions of all types and sizes.
