Business Schools seizing the future: student experience pre-enrolment will be key
15 October 2012
Hobsons, the leader in recruitment, communication, and student success solutions for higher education today welcomed the Association of Business Schools (ABS) Policy Network publication, Business Schools Seizing the Future, launched today at their annual conference at the University of Warwick.
The ABS represents 127 members, including all the traditional university schools and also the for-profit /not for profit independent schools and this publication contains a series of thought-provoking articles with predictions for the future of business schools.
Speaking ahead of the Association of Business Schools conference Kenny Nicholl a director at Hobsons says “I was delighted to be involved with the ABS and their policy network during this year. The discussion at the roundtables and the articles in this publication have stimulated an excellent discussion and debate. While it is clear that there have been many challenges for higher education in the last year, business schools are well positioned to respond.
“One of the biggest factors within our control is delivering a first class education and a fantastic experience for all students, regardless of whether they are domestic, EU or international, traditional or non-traditional, studying on campus or off campus.
“My key prediction for the next five years is that effective engagement and communication pre-enrolment, marketing to and shaping the perceptions and expectations of your potential student, will become just as important as the quality of learning and student experience during their study.”
Kenny added “Business Schools are, and will continue to be, a significant contributor to UK Higher Education.”
