Kathy Ovens

Vice President, Organisational Effectiveness

Kathy Ovens is vice president of organisational effectiveness for Hobsons’ global business. She is directly responsible for all HR and corporate services functions in the US, with strategic global responsibility for talent management and organisational effectiveness.

Kathy joined Hobsons in October 2008 as senior director of human resources and assumed additional responsibilities for all US facilities and administrative support in January 2010. Kathy believes in the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships for success. She enjoys the fact that she is able to play an integral role in the development of Hobsons’ employees as they progress in their careers.

Prior to joining Hobsons, Kathy spent 20 years at Chiquita Brands International, ultimately acting as HR business partner for the North American business unit.

Kathy enjoys wine tasting and international travel with her husband, David, and is most passionate about “being a mom” to her two teenagers, Morgan and Sean.

Kathy holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Gettysburg College.
