Sales Operations Specialist (London, UK)
Job Summary
- To bridge the gap between Sales and Finance by ensuring that orders are processed and closed correctly in Salesforce and Zuora.
- To manage commission plans and payments for the Sales and Operations teams.
- To ensure sales processes are adhered to so that reliable reports can be pulled from Salesforce.com and Zuora for both finance and sales management purposes.
- To champion the use of Salesforce in the office and support all EMEA based users.
Objectives
- To manage the use of Salesforce for EMEA for Sales and Operations
- To manage the use of Zuora for EMEA so that orders are uploaded and invoices raised
- To support Sales during any live RFPs
- Provide timely reports to Sales, Marketing, Finance and the Senior Leadership Team
- Provide training for all EMEA Salesforce users
- Liaise with Global Sales Operations to ensure consistency in processes and share best practices
- Work closely with the Sales Director to provide up to date performance tracking on a monthly quarterly and annual basis
- Liaise with other business units as appropriate
- Commission Plan roll outs, monthly calculations of commission payable
Key responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
- Provide support and guidance to sales team on proper and most effective use of Salesforce
- Conduct ongoing and ad hoc training for sales team
- Ensure opportunity accuracy
- Assist with various reporting requirements – forecasting, activity reports, dashboards, etc. for the following departments: Marketing, Sales & Finance, EMEA Leadership Team
- Interface with central operations to ensure EMEA sales needs are being met from a Salesforce perspective and test / develop new features
Contract closing and handoff
- Ensure all opportunities are closed appropriately in SFDC
- Ensure operational leads are notified of new sales and a new sale email is sent in timely manner to the office
- Facilitate contract processing (interface with Zuora to upload order form and raise an invoice)
RFP Support
- Work closely with Sales to ensure all RFP’s are managed correctly and submitted on time.
- Sales Process Evaluation and Improvement Guidelines
Data management
- Work with Marketing to ensure accounts, products and contacts are up to date
Commission and Sales performance calculations and reporting
Experience, Skills & Expertise
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Zuora would be beneficial
- Experience in a Sales Operations role, reporting and analytics
- Exhibit flexibility in work schedule and job tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitive information
