Sales Director, EMEA (London, UK)

Job summary

The Sales Director for EMEA with a focus on the UK will be responsible for delivery of revenue for all Hobsons products sold into the region.  This position is also responsible for the generation of new business and new market opportunities that leverage the full portfolio of products.  The Sales Director will effectively articulate the organisational mission, value proposition and industry impact to internal and external stakeholders to enhance the awareness of Hobsons brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency
  • Manages a team of 5 sales experts in the EMEA market
  • Lead the Sales strategy for all Hobsons products in the EMEA market.
  • Deliver budgeted revenue for all products sold into the EMEA market.
  • Build awareness of Hobsons EMEA, with a specific focus on the UK, by developing relationships in the Education sector.
  • Articulate the corporate, global business strategy in a way that is easily conveyed to clients and the industry community.
  • Consult with prospective clients and product divisions to determine the right Hobsons solution.
  • Evaluate the market analysis for new business opportunities for Hobsons.
  • Shared responsibility for leading communication meetings and other forums in the London office.
  • Motivate and push sales team and assist them in achieving targets.
  • Identifies and specifies new opportunities and complementary, productive competitor alliances.
  • Directs the support of the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
  • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with the key management personnel.
  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms within agreeable standards

 

experience, skills & education

  • Exceptional collaboration, influence and consensus building skills.
  • Keen understanding of the challenges of the education sector in current markets
  • Previous leadership or management roles with accountability for revenue targets.
  • Proven experience building a business or leading sales.
  • Good communicator, high impact presenter, and strong business acumen.
  • Available for Domestic and International travel where required.
