Hobsons Wins Bronze Stevie® Award

Premier business award lauds Hobsons for their innovative brand rollout campaign.

Arlington, VA – The 2012 International Business Awards committee today announced its selection of the Hobsons internal communications team as recipients of the Bronze Stevie® Award in the Communications or PR Campaign/Program of the Year - Internal Communications category. Hobsons, the leader in recruitment, communication, and student success solutions for colleges and universities, received this honor for the internal rollout of its new company brand to over 600 employees across three continents earlier this year.

The International Business Awards (IBAs) are the world’s premier business awards program. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners in October. The 2012 IBAs received more than 3,200 entries from 50+ nations and territories across all categories.

The Hobsons marketing team designed its comprehensive internal brand rollout around one key pillar, the need to involve its entire employee base. The multi-pronged communications plan included a number of creative tactics to drive engagement and awareness. The Hobsons team designed “Brand Aids” to help deploy the new brand across the company. These brand survival kits put the brand into action, helping employees learn key messaging points and see the brand in action.
