Leading Early Alert Solution Recognized for Contribution to Student Retention

Cincinnati, OH –  Monitoring student progress, especially during freshman and sophomore year, is vital to preventing student attrition and improving college graduation rates. Hobsons announced the selection of Retain, a leading early alert solution that targets, intervenes, and engages with at-risk students, as an eSchool Media 2013-14 Readers’ Choice Award. Retain enables college and university staff to track student behavior, proactively flag and communicate with students at-risk of attrition, and centralize campus-wide retention initiatives.

The annual award honors the best products and services in educational technology as chosen by readers. eSchool Media received nearly 700 nominations and selected 40 winning products and 60 honorable mentions based on the quality of the nominations from K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across North America.
