Arlington, VA – Naviance, the leading provider of measurable student success solutions for K-12 schools and districts, has been selected by Baltimore City Public Schools to provide Naviance Succeed® to all high school students in roughly 50 Baltimore high schools. Naviance Succeed unites students, families, teachers, counselors and administrators in a collaborative partnership to promote, measure and improve college and career readiness. Succeed also provides the district with valuable student outcome data for progress monitoring, including college applications and data tracking.
Baltimore City Public Schools joins other local school districts that use Naviance Succeed – including districts in Fairfax, Montgomery and Loudoun counties. Nearly 5,400 schools worldwide rely on Naviance Succeed to help students make better choices and improve achievement. “Baltimore City Public Schools’ staff saw first hand the power that Naviance delivers to area schools striving for increased student success,” asserts Clay Bond, vice president of sales for Naviance.
According to Jonathan Brice, the district’s school support network officer, “The addition of Naviance Succeed to Baltimore City Public Schools will give our school staff and administrators a better collaboration tool which allows them to continuously track and monitor the progress of 23,000 high school students. The ability to stay engaged is critical for student success.”
Naviance Succeed was selected partly based on its ability to deliver impactful results in Maryland schools such as Baltimore City College and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. Naviance Succeed is a solution that drives continued upward momentum of college application rates, FAFSA application rates, college acceptance rates and scholarship awards.
