OrderATranscript.com

Through OrderaTranscript.com, students over the age of 18 and parents of high school students can request that a transcript be sent to one or more academic institutions, scholarship organizations, and/or certifying body from among thousands across the country. Orders are immediately sent electronically to the current school's NTC account for approval and fulfillment.

Here's how it works:

  1. The student (or parent) visits OrderaTranscript.com, perhaps through a link on the school's website.
  2. The student identifies the sending school and authenticates his or her identity.
  3. The student identifies the colleges/universities, scholarship organizations, and/or certifying bodies to which the transcript should be sent.
  4. The student pays any transaction fees (if applicable) via credit card and adds any optional notes for the school counselor.
  5. The school counselor sees the transcript order as a request in the "Items Requiring Attention" area of the National Transcript Center.
  6. The school counselor reviews the order, then approves and fulfills or denies it.
  7. The student can track the order's progress through OrderaTranscript.com and is notified by e-mail when the order is fulfilled or if it is denied. If the order is denied, any transaction fees are refunded.

Tracking a Transcript

Any NTC record or transcript delivery — whether or not it was ordered through OrderaTranscript.com — can also be tracked at OrderaTranscript.com. Simply enter the tracking number provided by the school counselor or registrar on OrderaTranscript.com and click "Track." Each step of the fulfillment process is documented with the exact time (to the second!) and the name of the person who took that action.
