One of the benefits of living in the DC metro region is the chance to hear directly from leaders in education on thier research and recent publications. I had the chance to attend the American Enterprise Institute’s panel discussion Tuesday night covering Jeff Selingo’s, editor at large of the Chronicle of Higher Education, new book College (Un)bound: The Future of Higher Education and What It Means for Students. Here's some of the highlights and Twitter chatter from the event.

College (Un)Bound emphasizes that one thing is certain in higher education: the class of 2020 will have a radically different college experience than their parents. Instead of the traditional four-year experience of enrolling at the age of 18 and graduating by 22 from a brick and mortar institution, tomorrow's student experience will likely include a diverse mixture of traditional curriculum and disruptive learning fueled by technology. In light of Jeff's research, the provocative panel discussed the future of higher education innovation and trends from the book. If you’re interested in the panel check out the video.
