Pre-Conference Workshops

Conducted by Hobsons staff, these pre-conference workshops provide hands-on training on specific Hobsons products.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center

Accommodations are at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, a short drive from the heart of Music City. At the Gaylord Opryland, you’ll experience glass atriums with indoor gardens, cascading waterfalls, extraordinary dining and shopping, a 20,000-square-foot spa and fitness center and even an indoor river with Delta flatboat!

First-time Attendee Orientation

We’re excited to kick-off Hobsons U on Monday, July 16 with our first ever First-time Attendee Orientation. During this session, we’ll provide conference goers with all the ins-and-out of the conference and show them how to maximize the content and networking activities at Hobsons U. This orientation also serves as a terrific way for conference goers to meet and connect with colleagues from other institutions and also other first-timers.

“Rock Your School Spirit” Welcome Reception

All attendees are invited to join us at the “Rock Your School Spirit” Welcome Reception. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite institution-branded clothing, colors or jersey and to gather with colleagues for a candid with the giant Hobsons Gibson Guitar.

Third Morning of Conference Sessions

Also new this year is a third morning of conference sessions taking place on July 19. During this time, you can participate in repeat sessions (from the previous two days) to ensure you have the opportunity to consume as much relevant information as possible.

Excellence Awards Reception

Don’t forget to join us on the evening of July 18 for the client Excellence Awards Reception. Folks, you don’t want to miss your chance to take part in this “Western Saloon” themed, mouth-watering barbeque, country band event. So bring your biggest bucket hat, shiniest belt buckle and cowboy boots and “Go Country” with us Nashville style!
