Cameron started at Hobsons in the role of Director of Development, and in December 2008 was promoted to Chief Technology Officer. Cameron leads a team of 18 people which includes the infrastructure team, business analysts, testers, and developers.
After starting his working life as an analyst programmer with KPMG in Melbourne, Cameron continued on to IWL and then Iress where he became the general manager of software development in financial planning products.
Cameron was attracted to working at Hobsons by the people and the style of working - he enjoys the Hobsons corporate culture where employees are given a license to be creative, and flexibility is encouraged.
Looking ahead, he says the Technology Solutions division is working towards more sales of AMS and AY, and continually looking at ways to improve and fine-tune products to stay at the cutting edge of the market.
