The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus embraces enrolment technology

Malaysian education providers are embracing enrolment solutions technology to manage the student recruitment process, with The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) being the latest to take up Hobsons CRM.
UNMC is using Hobsons’ constituent relationship management (CRM) to manage the student recruitment effort, as well as simplify admissions and marketing processes.
The University will use Hobsons CRM to organise its contacts, execute marketing campaigns, organise events and generate meaningful reports as it delivers undergraduate, postgraduate and research-level education programmes from campus facilities near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to Professor Stephen Doughty, UNMC’s Vice-Provost for Teaching and Learning, the University looked at several alternative solutions but decided to purchase Hobsons CRM after concluding that it offered the best value for money while meeting and even exceeding requirements.
“Hobsons CRM will enable us to completely transform how we manage our marketing, prospective student tracking and conversions,” Professor Doughty said.
“We have recently completed the implementation phase and have been impressed by the professionalism and in-depth technical knowledge of the Hobsons CRM project team.”
Since the introduction of Hobsons CRM in Asia-Pacific, Malaysian and SE Asia institutions have joined more than 1000 institutions across the globe using the technology to improve enrolment management, constituent outreach, marketing and admissions operations.
