Sydney Business School joins the masses embracing enrolment technology

Australian education providers are embracing enrolment solutions technology to manage the student recruitment process, with the University of Wollongong’s Sydney Business School being the latest to take up the newly available Intelliworks platform.

The Sydney Business School will be using Hobsons’ Intelliworks constituent relationship management (CRM) system, which was introduced in the Asia-Pacific region in 2012, to manage the entire student recruitment lifecycle, as well as simplify admissions and marketing processes.

The school will use Intelliworks to organise its contacts, execute marketing campaigns, organise events and generate meaningful reports as it delivers postgraduate and executive education programs from teaching facilities in Wollongong and Sydney.

According to Sue Mathews, the Sydney Business School’s Business Manager, the school looked at several alternative solutions but decided to purchase Intelliworks after concluding that it offered the best value for money while meeting and even exceeding requirements.

“This product will enable us to completely transform how we manage our marketing, prospective student tracking and conversions,” Ms Mathews said.

“We are currently in the implementation phase and have been impressed by the professionalism and in-depth technical knowledge of the Intelliworks project team.”

Since Intelliworks’ Asia-Pacific release in October 2012, Australian institutions have joined more than 200 institutions across the globe using the technology to improve enrolment management, constituent outreach, marketing and admissions operations.
 
According to Denis Whelan, Hobsons’ Enrolment Solutions Sales Manager, Intelliworks offers a web-based customised relationship management solution built specifically for education.
