Australian education to benefit from new student recruitment solution

October 28, 2012

In an increasingly competitive environment where higher education institutions are placing emphasis on tracking prospective student progress and maximising efficiency, Australian institutions are set to benefit from Hobsons’ launch of Intelliworks, a new prospective student and enrolment management tool.

Intelliworks provides institutions trying to manage the student recruitment process with a suite of integrated constituent relationship management (CRM) solutions to manage the entire student recruitment lifecycle.

Hobsons APAC’s Enrolment Solutions Sales Manager, Denis Whelan, said that Intelliworks makes CRM easy to use at any university, TAFE or private provider, breaking away from traditional corporate-focused CRM solutions, which have been difficult to implement and customise for the education space.

“The Asia-Pacific education industry has been saturated with corporate CRM tools that need to be customised and bent around the education process with no integration with student information systems,” Mr Whelan said.

Hobsons APAC’s Managing Director, David Harrington, noted that the launch of Intelliworks will enable Hobsons to deliver even more innovative and flexible offerings across a wide range of Australian education institutions.

“Our goal at Hobsons is to help educators and administrators maximise student and prospective student success through cutting-edge solutions. The launch of Intelliworks allows us to do exactly that,” Mr Harrington said.

“What’s even more exciting is that this product is already being used by hundreds of institutions around the world.”

According to the Managing Director of Mingle Communications, Tonya Willoughby, who has been working with CRM systems in Australia and overseas for over 12 years, Intelliworks revolutionises the education sector, where off-the-shelf corporate products “fail more often than not”.

“Intelliworks by Hobsons has been built by educators for educational use — I have never seen a system that truly gets education like this one does,” Ms Willoughby said.

“For too long educational institutions have had to make do or do it themselves. Now, finally, there is something available in Australia that really works and can revolutionise and simplify how educators work."
