Support Analyst - Temporary (Arlington, VA)
Job Summary
The Support Analyst will work with a team of other specialists to address end user issues via e-mail. The Support Analyst will also ensure that questions are addressed in a timely manner while keeping up professional standards expected by the industry. Qualities needed to succeed in this role include: the ability to manage your own time in a high-volume deadline-sensitive environment, possession of excellent writing & communication skills, and a track record showing the ability to quickly learn with minimal oversight. Applicants must be extremely comfortable with the Internet, various document editors (Word/Adobe Reader) and multitasking.
This position may require weekend and evening work hours. Positions will be hired to cover shifts ranging all times of the day and night. Shifts vary in hours up to 10-hour shifts. Position start date is September 18, 2012 or later.
We are currently seeking a talented, organized and motivated Support Analyst to join our Arlington, Virginia team.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Assess and respond to incoming support requests via email, and web applications
- Follow department guidelines for quality standards and time management

Proven ability in applying sound judgment and decision making skills in a deadline-sensitive environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated oral and excellent written communication skills
- Professionalism and customer service skills
- Initiative and eagerness to learn new skills
- Familiarity with the Internet and Microsoft Office products
- 1+ years in a high-volume customer service environment preferably using an online work order/ticketing system to manage the inflow of help requests
- Proven ability in applying sound judgment and decision making skills in a deadline-sensitive environment
- Must be available to work various hours, which may include nights and/or weekends (up to 10 hour shifts)
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
