Product Trainer (Sydney, Australia)
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the full-time position of Product Trainer to join our Enterprise Solutions team.
The Role
The Product Trainer, based in our Sydney office, works in a small team supporting Hobsons Kindergarten to Year 12 Student Learning and Academic Management Systems. In this role you will be training school academic and administration staff in the use of our products. The role includes the development of training materials as well as training our clients. The role is focused to ensure Hobsons’ customers have a positive experience and remain satisfied with Hobsons’ products and services.
The primary functions of this role include:
• Planning, booking and managing a regular schedule of training sessions to which our clients can subscribe
• Delivery of training to all sizes of audiences, from large auditorium, down to personalised ‘one on one’ training
• Development of training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, online training and simulations.
• Continuous improvement of all training assets and processes as suggested by feedback from trainees and online user forums
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience in presenting or training large audiences
• Ability to understand and train complex processes
• Experience in providing end user training for computer based systems
• Excellent written, visual presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the development of quality training materials
• Ability to think on your feet in adverse situations and under pressure
• Capable user of technology including computers, audio visual tools, projectors, iPads, Apple TV
Additional Desirable Skills
• Formal qualification in teaching or training
• Prior experience teaching in schools
• Expertise and domain knowledge in the school K-12 space
• Prior experience with Edumate is highly desirable
