Technical Recruiter Contract-to-Hire (Arlington, VA)
Job Summary
Hobsons is currently seeking a Technical Contract Recruiter to work in our Arlington, Virginia office. This position will work closely with the Manager of Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and Business Leaders to attract and acquire top talent at all levels within the organization.
The Technical Contract Recruiter will be responsible for Full Life Cycle Recruiting which includes: the Recruiting Initiation Meeting with the Hiring Manager, posting positions on various sites, sourcing candidates, qualifying through initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, debriefing with interview team and working hand-in-hand with the Hiring Manager to hire the most qualified candidate.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Ability to develop sourcing strategies locally in the Arlington/Washington DC area for our current hiring needs and build a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities
- Effectively utilize job boards, corporate postings, social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.), search engines and user groups to source technical candidates
- Conduct behavioral based interviewing techniques to ensure candidate(s) meet the minimum requirements/qualifications for each position
- Utilize an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Expert user in LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter with the ability to perform advanced sourcing techniques
- Attend local networking and/or recruiting events in effort to gain employer brand awareness within the business community
- Assist in various searches on an as needed by basis i.e.: Sales, Finance, Marketing etc.
- Roles/responsibilities will grow as the organization continues to grow
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a professional, full lifecycle, Recruiter specializing in Technical/IT Recruiting and/or Executive Recruiting is required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Highly skilled with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter, is strongly preferred
- Proficient with utilizing a variety of recruiting technologies and tools to source talent, both passive and active job seekers
- Thorough knowledge of AAP requirements, EEOC and other relevant employment laws is preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
