Search Analyst (Arlington, VA or Remote)
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Consultant will develop and manage digital advertising campaigns on behalf of non-profit colleges and universities who are recruiting students for graduate, under-graduate, on-ground and online programs. The primary channels for these campaigns include PPC (e.g. Google Adwords, Bing/Yahoo AdCenter, Facebook, LinkedIn), display advertising and various CPI channels. The Digital Marketing Consultant will work directly with clients, and collaboratively with Account Managers and other team members to design, implement, and optimize digital channels on an ongoing basis. The most important skill set is a high level of expertise administering paid search campaigns. However, the successful candidate will also demonstrate a broad range of knowledge across multiple skill areas in digital marketing, including graphic design, copywriting, web development, CRM, lead nurturing, and social media.
We are currently hiring a Digital Marketing Consultant to work from our headquarters in Cincinnati, OH or our offices in Arlington, VA or as a remote team member
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Extensive paid search and display knowledge
- Quickly and efficiently develop and manage PPC
- Monitor the daily development of campaigns and make immediate optimizations to maximize return on investment for the client
- Negotiate, develop, monitor and manage delivery of booked campaigns on CPA, CPC and CPM models. This includes monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
- Work with Senior Search Analyst and Account Manager to establish new online opportunities for client base
- Exhibit consistent and timely follow-up on all new channel and SEM launches
- Help coordinate tests prior to commitment of online media purchases to ensure appropriate results once campaign is live
- Conceptualize and initiate tests with the Senior Search Analyst (keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns
- Desire to continually gain knowledge in digital marketing and the higher education vertical
- Execute research and analysis to further team’s understanding of the consumer and market
- Become an expert in program details and geography of our clients
- Become well-versed in higher education accreditations, regulations, initiatives and related concepts necessary to contribute to better keyword build outs
- Ability to work with a team in a multi-client environment
- Highly accountable and self driven
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneous and reprioritize quickly
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years online media buying experience with a strong background in analytics

- 4 year college degree in Marketing Communications or equivalent
- Experience managing paid search accounts exceeding $100k monthly spend
- Certified Google Advertising Professional
