Call Center Representative (Oklahoma City, OK)
Job Summary
The Call Center Representative (CSR) will serve as a representative of the client institution to prospective students interested in contracted programs. This position will be responsible for the initial contact of prospective students. The main objective of this position is to transfer calls of prospective students to Enrollment Counselors.
This position reports to the Director of Call Center Operations.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Follow up with inquiries on a continuous basis by phone and/or written correspondence; enter session information into database
- Follow Lead Policy in working with prospective students
- Maintain competency as outlined in the CSR Performance Matrix
- Spend a substantial amount of time on the telephone on a daily basis attempting to contact potential students
- Participate in programs for self-improvement and professional development as it relates to improved conversions and customer service
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Director of Call Center Operations
Minimum Qualifications
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification for this position is:
- High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience required
- Must have strong phone skills with ability to deliver exceptional customer service; strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Windows XP or Macintosh interface and Microsoft products to complete tasks including Word documents, MS Exchange electronic mail, MS Excel spreadsheets strongly preferred
- Ability and willingness to lift, pull, grasp, bend, and lift 25 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to drive to off-site locations
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
