Business Development Manager (Melbourne VIC, AU)
Job Summary
Hobsons is looking for an experienced, hard working, forward-thinking Business development Manager. Responsible for revenue generation across part of our publishing (print and web) division, you will be positioned at the heart of a successful, established sales team. Your role will consist of building the product in new markets, primarily NSW and QLD so travel will be required but you will be based in the Melbourne office.

Reporting to your Team Leader your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting your sales targets through new business sales activity
- Managing existing accounts and maintaining client relationships
- Planning, managing and evaluating sales campaigns
- Working with Pre-Sales to tactically target prospects and understand the competitive landscape
- Tracking sales performance
- Providing market intelligence to Hobsons to assist with product enhancements and innovation
- Ensuring consistent and transparent communications within the business and your clients
- Diligent use of the CRM
